Our aim is to deliver quality & value product so that our customers can have confidence that the product/s purchased are sourced in a manner which is fair to all those involved. Corporate Social Responsibility is an integral part of our culture, and how our business operates. Our sourcing procedures focus on Ethical Sourcing and we have various checks and initiatives in place to ensure these are upheld.

At The LibR8ed, we act professionally, diligently and ethically and we expect the same from our suppliers. We apply the same standards to all of our sourcing partners. We expect them to meet our specific standards in relation to human rights and ethical business practices. All of our supplier sourcing facilities are reviewed, approved and checked with our buying and/or supply chain teams. Our level of influence over suppliers/factories depends on our level of business/significance to that individual resource. Our policy is that if there is doubt regarding working conditions, standards of manufacture or quality of product, we will not proceed, and we will walk away. Some specific demands that we look to enforce on our suppliers is that they follow EU-Standards requirements for chemical levels in materials, components and making processes.

We also demand ethical trading/social responsibility covering points such as:

  • Safety through all processes
  • Hygiene throughout each facility
  • Freedom of employment
  • Fair and reasonable reward
  • Reasonable and regular working hours
  • Age of labour ensuring no child labour
  • No discrimination shall take place
